The Art of reWilding

The Machine of our Modern Culture has steadily eroded our connection to the healing energy of the earth in almost every way...

We are in an unprecedented time in human history - a global science experiment unfolding in real time of ultra-convenience, over-consumption, franken-foods, 24-7 technology, and constant exposure to environmental chemicals and electromagnetic fields

At the same time we have also experienced a massive collective relationship breakdown to the wild world - spending most of our time indoors isolated from the sights, sounds and rhythms of nature.

And we seem to be stuck in this holding pattern even when we know it is making our minds.bodies.hearts & souls feel chronically (un)well. This nature deficit may show up for you as physical illness or a combination of overwhelm, exhaustion, anxiety, depression, loneliness, or even spiritual crisis. The more we separate ourselves from the natural world, the sicker we become.

In contrast, for millennia, we were immersed in an intimate relationship with the earth, the trees, the plants, the insects, the animals, the oceans and streams, the sun, the moon, and the stars. This wild immersion and healing energy exchange through the sights, sounds, smells, and energetic vibration of the natural world was all we knew.

It has only been a sliver of time in human history that we have separated ourselves from this exquisite partnership…but those memories are still held in our DNA.

reWilding (by its most practical definition): is an intentional choice to rebuild a mutually beneficial relationship with the natural world through nutrient-rich, whole food nutrition and nature-infused lifestyle transformation to restore wild well-being in ourselves, our loved ones, our communities, and our beautiful planet.

Because what you are in relationship with, you look after, love, and care for. And receive those gifts in return.

This collective relationship breakdown lies at the epicenter of the epidemics of chronic illness, obesity, skyrocketing rates of anxiety and depression, and the ever-present eco-crisis that we are now facing.

So what can we do about all of this?

We can start by taking a stand against our culture-made addictions, tap into our free will and inner wild, and vote with our time, our attention, and our dollars for a more sustainable and healthful future for the planet and for ourselves.

These two simple, but radical acts below will start you on your journey to reclaiming nature as one of your primary relationships:

1) fall back in love with local, nutrient-rich, whole foods to fuel your mind.body for peak performance (and strengthen a sustainable and health-promoting food supply)

and

2) consciously choose a nature-infused lifestyle with a happy and enthusiastic heart every single day to:

  • lift your mood

  • naturally reduce inflammation and stress

  • optimize your sleep

  • strengthen your immune system

  • inspire child-like wonder and joy

  • deepen your mindfulness and spirituality

  • awaken your inner wild and reverence for all living beings, great & small

Your mind.body.heart & soul will feel grounded, vibrant and wild again if you tap into the healing rhythm of the earth in these two essential ways.

The benefits are nearly immediate and anyone can do this!

The Wild at Heart Method is uniquely designed to help you transition into a lifestyle that awakens your inner wild and supports your wellbeing.

Hello  I'm Angela, a functional nutrition health coach.
After navigating my own nature-infused healing journey and witnessing our culture’s collective relationship breakdown to the wild world that has led to the epidemics of chronic illness, anxiety, depression, and the climate crisis...

I founded Wild at Heart to take a stand against unsustainable cultural norms by empowering YOU to (re)align your lifestyle, mindset, and home with the wisdom of nature for healing  mind, body, heart &  soul, (re)kindling a soulful relationship to the natural world, and healing yourself, your loved ones, our communities, and our home on this earth.

Let's walk together for awhile... we'll stop and smell the wildflowers, smile a lot, and wander down the road less-traveled.

Be well and I'll see you in the wild.
